Working steady, but always looking for more

My agreement with Tom’s IT Pro prohibits me from pre-announcing specific topics of any upcoming work, but I can tell you this: I am now a regular contributor there, and you can expect to see my work for this Purch outlet twice monthly. In my most recent post, I posit that Desktop as a Service is an evil tool of the One Percent, but even evil has its purposes and usually (although not in this particular case) has a business case to support it.

The editors there also asked me to go back to my previous work and build Excel models to help readers calculate the business case in their own, unique situations, as well as PowerPoint decks to walk them through the process. I did one for my orchestration and automation case, and they’ll soon be available for my cloud storage and flash storage cases.

I’m also in talks with some longtime clients about getting into heavier rotation. More on that as it develops. In the meantime, I’m open to other opportunities.
