One of my clients just assigned me to write about the problem-plagued merger of AT&T and Time Warner .
It occurs to me that the regulatory scrutiny the deal faces is just wrong. It is not the government’s role to regulate TWAT&T. It has no jurisdiction over TWAT&T and, even if it did, it doesn’t understand the first thing about how TWAT&T works. All of us who enjoy the services provided by TWAT&T should send a message: Hands off our TWAT&T, Washington! Hands off our TWAT&T!
